Odlums’ Peanut, Banana & Chocolate Chip Protein Bars

A WORD FROM THE CHEF
Looking for a healthy snack or good lunchbox filler, check out these delicious protein bars.
INGREDIENTS
Three medium bananas
2tbsp honey
3tbsp peanut butter
2tbsp milk of choice
One large egg
100g Odlums Self Raising Super Flour
50g grams protein powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
50g dark chocolate chips
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 180C. Line a brownie tray with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl open and mash the bananas with a fork. Add the peanut butter and honey and beat really well using a wooden spoon or a spatula.
Add the egg and mix it in.
Now add the flour, cinnamon and protein powder (if using) and mix really well until a nice batter is formed. If it’s too thick add the milk until it reaches dripping consistency. Sprinkle in the chocolate chips and add to your lined tray.
Bake for 15-20 minutes and allow to cool before slicing into bars. Enjoy.
