Planning sought for new children's playground at The Downs

A local community group has applied for planning permission to construct a children's playground.

The application from the Downs Community Forum includes details for the construction of a new playground, as well as the widening of the exiting vehicular entrance and a footpath at the rear of the playground. The playground is to be located at the grounds of The Downs GAA Club.

The decision due date for the application is April 24.
