Westmeath GAA games to remain cashless
Westmeath GAA is to remain cashless when it comes to admission to games, it was confirmed at a recent county board meeting.
Joe Potter of Lough Lene Gaels wondered if credit and debit cards will be accepted and Head of Operations, Patrick Doherty confirmed they will. Supporters attending club games this summer will be able to tap in with their bank card.
"We started using them towards the end of last year and they will remain," he explained.
Cork GAA have decided to reverse their cashless policy and will now look at ways to accommodate cash for games within the county this summer.
