Great weekend for underage camogie sides

Westmeath camogie had a very successful weekend with our underage teams. The under 16 side won the Leinster Plate final on Sunday in Raharney against Laois.

Ella Murtagh from Clonkill took home Player of the Match with a massive scoreline of 4-6 and Westmeath were resounding winners.

Meanwhile, the under 14 development squad also won their match agaisnt Wicklow in Wicklow on Saturday.

Next weekend (April 29), our intermediate team will be playing Offaly in Banagher in the first round of the Leinster Championship.
