Cronin chat new McGowan album with Bruce Springsteen
Cronin brothers, Johnny and Mick, met with one of their all time music heroes, none other than Bruce Springsteen on Wednesday.
The pair spent an "amazing few hours" with The Boss at the home of Shane MacGoawn and Victoria Mary Clarke yesterday, where they talked about the singer's Irish roots, the Rathowen versus Rathangan debacle, Joe Dolan's cover of Brilliant Disguise, and the upcoming album they are making with the Pogues legend.
"We couldn't believe we got to spend a few hours in the company of Bruce Springsteen, he was a true gentleman," commented frontman Johnny Cronin.
"We talked about everything from family to songwriting, and Joe Dolan's cover of Brilliant Disguise."
Springsteen paid a special visit to Shane ahead of the E Street Band’s Dublin gigs, which kick off tomorrow night.
All three shows in the RDS on Friday, Sunday and Tuesday are sold out.
