Run with Ray returns to Mullingar this June

Run with Ray returns to Mullingar this month. The RTÉ Radio 1 event in the name of their broadcaster Ray D'Arcy was last in the town in April 2011, and this year it takes place on the evening of Wednesday June 28.

The Mullingar run is part of a week of Run with Ray 5ks, which start on Monday June 26 in Buncrana, County Donegal, and continue in Sligo on the Tuesday, Avondale House and Park, Rathdrum, County Wicklow on the Thursday and conclude at Corkagh Park, Dublin on the Friday of that week.

Anyone who signs up gets a Run with Ray T-shirt, which people can collect on the day along with their numbers from 4.15pm to 5.15pm – the run starts at 5.30pm

The 5km course is on the Old Trail Greenway at Newbrook. It starts at the Newbrook Bridge on the canal and ends on the Old Rail Trail Greenway (similar to the parkrun route).
