New signs for Mullingar dog park to be placed in car park
Cllr Aoife Davitt was pleased with the replies given to three queries she raised at the April meeting of the Municipal District of Mullingar Kinnegad.
The first request was for signs at Mullingar Dog Park in the assigned council car parks near it. To that, the response from the district was that Westmeath County Council will place directional signs at that location.
Cllr Davitt asked if the council carry out works to clear the path to Lough Ennell at Butler’s Bridge and was told that maintenance works would be carried out at that location in the next two weeks.
A further request from Cllr Davitt was that the district remove the ivy on the wall at Ballyglass Graveyard. To that, the response was that the ivy has been removed.
“Westmeath County Council will continue to maintain the boundary wall at this location,” Cllr Davitt was promised.
