Stephen and Natasha Walsh from Mullingar.Special Olympics gold medalist Daryl Gahan was honoured at an event in the Greville Arms Hotel on Tuesday July 4.
Manchester United fan Daryl, son of Victoria and John Gahan of Ennell Court, was a member of the Irish football team that came out on top in the soccer championship at the Special Olympics World Games in Berlin last month.
Among those who attended the event were Daryl’s family and many friends, including his colleagues from Mullingar Shoot 'n' Stars.
