Ballynacargy Comhaltas welcome Ademar O’Connor to team of tutors

Ballynacargy Comhaltas members had a busy few weeks bfore and after the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Mullingar, and now they’re preparing for the return of music and dance classes in September.

Among the tutors for the new season is All-Ireland champion, Ademar O’Connor.

A registration evening takes place at Teach Ceoil in Ballynacargy on Tuesday evening of next week, August 29, between 6,30pm and 8.30pm.

Membership will be taken on the night and the fees are: family €20, adult €12, child €6,

Classes resume the week beginning Monday September 11.

The classes available are:

• banjo and mandolin with Joe Connaire

• guitar with Jacqui O’Meara

• whistle and flute with Enda Seery

• button accordion with Tom Flood

• concertina with Caomháin Mac Gabhainn

• fiddle with Ademar O’Connor

• set dancing with Niamh Penrose

• sean nós dancing with Ryan Biesty
