Bank of Ireland and Glenveagh host evening for home buyers

As the 214 striking new beautifully designed Glenveagh homes at Farranshock Park, Mullingar, near completion, an information event for those interested in buying is being held at the Mullingar branch of Bank of Ireland at 6-8pm on Thursday, September 21. This is a walk-in event where visitors can talk to the bank, the developers and the sellers.

“It is great to see another large development coming to Mullingar, given the level of demand for properties in the locality, and Bank of Ireland are delighted to host this event with Glenveagh,” branch manager Martin Barrett says.

“We are here to support the community and we have a very professional mobile team on the ground to help and support people on their mortgage journey.”

He hopes to see a good turnout on the evening and invites anyone who wants more information to contact Siobhan Shalvey at siobhan.shalvey@boi.com.

Eamon Gavigan and Laura Whelan from Glenveagh Homes Limited and Ben Goldsmith from Savills, the selling agents, will attend.

Mr Gavigan has announced that the first of these homes will be ready for occupancy before Christmas. They see Mullingar as a pivotal commuter town, ripe for future growth of Glenveagh homes.

The two- and three-bedroom homes are all A rated energy efficient, so the purchaser can avail of the Green Mortgage from Bank of Ireland as well as the Help-to-Buy and First Home schemes, he pointed out.

Glenveagh are based in Maynooth and have built homes in Athlone, Navan, Kilkenny, Wicklow and Kildare. “We are going to complete 1,380 houses approximately this year,” Mr Gavigan stated.
