Secondary schools holding open days this week

Most of the local secondary schools are holding their open days this week.

Wilson’s Hospital School, Multyfarnham: Friday October 6-8pm for prospective day pupils, and on Saturday October 7 at 10am-2pm for prospective boarding pupils. See whs.ie.

St Joseph’s Secondary School, Rochfortbridge: Friday October 6, 3-5pm; and Saturday October 7, 10am-noon. Follow the school on Instagram for updates.

Loreto College, Mullingar: Thursday October 5, 5.30-7.30pm; people are asked to contact the school office to book a time – 044934 2055. Applications are being accepted from October 16 at 8am; the application closing date is November 6 at 11am. Notification of offers is November 10; and the deadline for accepting offers is November 17 at 3.30pm. See loretocollegemullingar.com.

St Finian’s College, Mullingar: Tuesday October 3 and Wednesday October 4; people are asked to attend at the times alloted for their primary schools (invitations have been sent to them). Applications are being accepted from October 16 to November 6. Places will be offered by post on November 10; and acceptance of offers is by November 17. See stfinianscollege.ie.
