Cat missing from Westmeath ends up in Garda custody in Tullamore!
The story of a cat who went missing from Westmeath had a purrfect ending this week, when he was reunited with his family after being found by Gardai in Tullamore!
The border-crossing feline, Jack, went missing from his home in Mullingar "in the last few weeks" according to Laois Offaly Gardai.
He was found by the Offaly Roads Policing Unit in Tullamore yesterday, and has now been reunited with his "delighted" family.
In a social media post, Jack's owner, Clodagh, expressed her gratitude to the guards in Tullamore for finding and returning her pet.
"Thanks so much to Tullamore Gardai for taking the time out of their day to look after Jack and for returning him. Best phonecall ever. Jack was very clever to get himself arrested!" Clodagh wrote.
