Celebrate the magic of Christmas with WinterFest Mullingar

Winterfest Mullingar is taking place over two weekends this year, Friday December 8 to Sunday 10th and Friday 15th to Sunday 17th, at Caffrey’s on Mount Street.

The organisers have identified these highlights:

Market Magic: a town centre Christmas market with more than 40 stalls. Explore a array of produce, from handcrafted ornaments to gourmet goodies and everything in between to help you find presents for your loved ones. Don’t let the weather bother you, as the markets will be in a beautifully decorated, weather-proof marquee at Caffrey’s, ensuring a comfortable experience for all.

Santa’s Grotto: at the core of Winterfest Mullingar is Santa’s Grotto. Secure your spot by booking at winterfestmullingar.ie (includes a gift and a family portrait), Following your visit with Santa, you can visit our Elf Station to collect your gift and complimentary reindeer food ready for Christmas Eve.

Culinary Delights: indulge in a feast for the senses at the food stalls and in the many food outlets already on Mount Street. Savor the warmth of hot chocolate and the comforting aroma of mulled wine, sure to chase away the winter chill with ample seating inside and outside the marquee, it’s an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy.

Festive Fun for Kids: Mount Street will be transformed into a playground of merriment, with a range of children’s amusements and activities. There will be no shortage of smiles and laughter.

Beware of the Grinch! Keep a lookout for the mischievous Grinch, who will be wandering the town during the markets and who might try to steal your gifts! Be on your guard and protect your treasures.

Elf Hunt: embark on an exciting elf hunt around town and look out for the Window Elves; bring your completed card back to the market organisers for a free selection box.

Christmas Tractor Run: experience a touch of magic with the Christmas Tractor Run on Saturday December 9 from 5.30pm. Adorned in Christmas lights, tractors parade through town, spreading joy and festive spirit.
