Keeping toilets at Tudenham open 'not an issue'

Keeping toilet facilities open at Tudenham, Lough Ennell, is "not a major issue" and can be addressed, Cllr Ken Glynn was assured at the October meeting of the Municipal District of Mullingar Kinnegad.

Cllr Glynn said great work had been done on improving amenities and the paths there, but the public toilets were closed from September. "We are encouraging people to our lakes and this is a basic amenity that must be open longer," he said. He was supported by Cllr Aoife Davitt.

The councillors were told that keeping the toilets open longer or installing portable toilets would be considered.
