E-scooter rider 'seriously injured' in Mullingar accident

A male in his 40s was seriously injured when the e-scooter he was travelling on was involved in an accident at Saunders Bridge yesterday morning.

The male who was involved in the accident, which occurred at around 11.45am, was brought to Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore with what gardaí described as "serious injuries".

In a statement released to the Westmeath Examiner, gardaí said that there were no other injuries reported and that investigations are ongoing.
