CLUB NOTES

Open hours are 9am–5pm Mon to Thursday, Friday 2pm. Come along and soak up the atmosphere. Coffee mornings on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11am. Bingo afterwards.

Wednesday hour of speaking Gaeilge at 1.30pm. Cookery Classes take place this week; last week everyone was happy going home with the homemade bracks and cakes.

Go for Life’ is an hour-long of moving and exercising those tired bones and parts of the body so that you can feel the health benefits. The exercises are not strenuous.

Technology

Are you confident working on your PC, laptop, tablet, iPad, or smartphone? On Tuesday and Wednesdays afternoon, there are slots for IT tutoring; call 044 93 84290 or call in to discuss.

Hearing aid service

CHIME, free hearing aid service open to people of all ages, was on Friday, October 27. Thank you, Orla for your = helpful presence to a full house. Servicing; small repairs; spare parts advice as well as supply of batteries. It is free regardless of whether your have HSE or privately bought hearing aids. There is charge of €2 per pack of batteries. Call 04493 84290 for details.

Do you have dressmaking needs or alterations? If so, Beata is at the club on Mondays at 10.30am. You can leave your items with a member of staff with instructions on the same.

Bonus Ball winner this week was Debbie Daly. Congratulations Debbie and thank you for your support.
