Ballinea graduate now running own business

Elizabeth Ruane, Ballinea, Mullingar, who has graduated with a Masters in Business Studies in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from Dundalk IT, now owns her own consulting business working as a marketing consultant specialising in social media and event management.

She attended St Kenny National School, Kilpatrick, Mullingar, and in 2012 moved on to Loreto College Mullingar, where she did her Leaving Cert in 2017.

Elizabeth studied for five years at Dundalk IT. She graduated in 2021 with a BA in Digital Marketing and Public Relations, and in 2022 she completed a BA (Hons) in Global Marketing; this year she did her Masters in Business Studies in Entrepreneurship and Marketing.

Elizabeth also received the President’s Prize for enterprising student of the year 2023.

Her parents are James Ruane from Patrick Street, and Lisa Quigley, originally from Newtown in Tipperary.
