A new Town Team to be formed in Castlepollard

A town team for Castlepollard is to be formed in the New Year, with the aim of making it an attractive place to live, work, visit and invest in.

Westmeath County Council is inviting members of the public, residents and businesses, sporting, community and voluntary groups, local schools and property owners to get involved in the preparation and formation programme for its establishment.

The council plan to host an information meeting on Thursday January 25 in the Castle Varagh Hotel at 7pm.

This will be an opportunity to register your interest in participating.

The Town Team is intended to be inclusive and represent as many local voices as possible, to guide the future of the town.
