1428 Club members go carol singing at Harbour Place
It’s a very busy time for us at the club this week and next. The annual Christmas raffle is on Thursday 14 December and the festive coffee morning is on Tuesday 19th so hopefully, we will see as many members as possible that day.
Opening hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Thursday, except Friday when doors close at 2pm.
Coffee mornings are Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11am. Bingo (if you wish) afterwards.
Last Gaeilge get-together for the year is this Wednesday 13 December.
Go for Life is an hour-long non-strenuous exercise carried out with the help of music, on Wednesdays.
IT tutoring on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons – give us a call and let us know what the problem is.
The next CHIME clinic is Friday 26 January; check in with us before that as the time slots can fill up rapidly.
Events coming up
Annual dinner dance on Wednesday 13 December in the Greville Arms Hotel at 7pm. Tickets in the club at €32 per person. Music on the night by Noel Briody.
The Unit Community Garda Christmas party for older persons was on December 6thn the Annebrook House Hotel. Thank you to Garda Fiona and Garda Niall and all the other officers who were part of organising a wonderful party. The guests enjoyed it immensely.
The carol singing fundraiser was on Thursday December 7 in the Harbour Place Shopping Centre; we would like to thank the members for coming along to sing, the management of Harbour Place for accommodating us and everyone who gave so generously on the day.
The winner of the Bonus Ball last week was Marie Greene.
