IPAV charity funds handed over

Pat Davitt, chief executive of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (IPAV), has thanked auctioneers and friends throughout the country who donated to two charity lunches the organisation held before Christmas.

The beneficiaries were – in Dublin, Samaritans, charity partner of the Elephant in the Room, and Cork ARC Cancer Support House.

“From funds raised at the two events, and a donation from IPAV, we were delighted to present a cheque for €5,000 to Samaritans Dublin, and one for €2,500 to Cork ARC Cancer Support House,” he said.
