Workshop in Tullamore to teach participants how to make an eco friendly doll

In conjunction with The Murmuration Exhibition at Esker Arts Centre Tullamore, Offaly artist Teresa Doyle will teach those interested in hand sewing and upcycling how to make an eco friendly raggle taggle doll.

The workshop will take place on Thursday, February 15 from 10am to 12.30pm.

Teresa is inviting attendees to bring their own much loved, well worn and worn out fabric items to create this doll. The workshop is designed for beginners and for those who enjoy a little hand sewing and up cycling. Teresa operates her own business, Teresa Doyle Bespoke Dolls & Craft, making customised bespoke dolls to order, which are made from fabric items supplied to her by the client.

Teresa recently conducted a workshop on St Brigid's Day at Esker Arts Centre and the attendees took their Bridéogs home with them to parts of Offaly, Westmeath, Sligo, Dublin and Meath.
