Shandonagh GAA hand over 5k funds to LARCC charity

The annual St Stephen’s Day 5k walk in memory of Maggie and Majella Scally at Shandonagh GAA raised another generous sum for their charity partners, Cancer Support Sanctuary LARCC.

On Monday, Bernie McHugh welcomed Martin and Olivia Scally and JJ Scally, representing Shandonagh GAA, to LARCC, when they presented a cheque for €2,435 – the proceeds from the 2023 walk.

Bernie said she and the team at LARCC are "forever grateful" that funds from the event, which has been going for a number of years now, are donated to their community based charity.

LARCC thanked everyone concerned who helped to organise and who donated to the event. They are proud and thankful to be the chosen partner charity.

LARCC services include: one to one Counselling for the cancer patient and / or family members. Complementary therapies for the cancer patient and / or family members. Nurse Support for the cancer patient and /or family members.
