One month till the Mullingar St Patrick’s Day Festival
It’s just over a month now to the St Patrick’s Day Festival in Mullingar, and the preparations are continuing.
The festival is a two-day event, on March 16 and 17, and it promises a weekend of celebrations to showcase the rich cultural heritage of the town.
March 16, Mullingar Harbour
Kicking off the festivities, a St Patrick’s Eve event at Mullingar Harbour on March 16 promises an enchanting evening by the water. Attendees will enjoy live music, captivating performances, and delectable refreshments, setting the stage for a memorable night.
March 17, parade and children’s entertainment
Families are invited to Church Avenue and Castle Street between 1pm and 4.30pm for entertainment, including a puppet show live from the viewing stand, music.
At 3pm the town will come alive when the parade passes through in a colourful, musical display of community spirit and creativity.
