Christmas Remembrance Tree funds

Bill Collentine, Denis Larkin, Paddy Halligan, John Shaw, Teresa Collentine, Margaret Claffey, Roger Nicholson, Tom Daly and Dónal Lawlor from Mullingar Rotary Club and North Westmeath Hospice, at the distribution of funds raised at their joint initiative, the Christmas Remembrance Tree.

Both organisations thank all who supported the event by way of placing yellow ribbon on the trees in memory of their loved ones and by making donations.

The Rotary Club’s half of the funds are given to various local charities, while the North Westmeath Hospice funds support the local specialist palliative care services.
