Lions Club set date for Summer Cycle Challenge

Mullingar Lions Club are holding their Annual Summer Circle Challenge on bank holiday Monday May 6. Frank Dillon, event co-ordinator, said that the cycle will have two routes – 90k and 40k – both starting from Shandonagh GAA Centre at 9am.

He is keen to flag the date for the event for local cyclists, experienced and beginners.

All proceeds from the cycle will go to Lions Club projects providing "respite and support for families with special needs and autism".
