Bevcraft to establish print operations in Canada
Mullingar company Bevcraft Group have announced a major expansion into North America.
The ‘craft can’ specialists have established Groupe Bevcraft Canada and will be investing $3m in a facility at Trois-Rivières in Quebec, Canada.
It will be the ninth facility across the Bevcraft network and adds to operations already established in Mullingar, the UK, USA, Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands.
The expansion was announced at the McCord Stewart Museum in Montreal today at a business reception attended by Tánaiste Micheál Martin.
The Fianna Fáil leader welcomed the news.

“This ambitious expansion firmly establishes you in Canada and underscores Bevcraft's commitment to Quebec as a region for continued growth in North America.
“We eagerly anticipate your continued success in the global craft beverage industry."
Groupe Bevcraft Canada will be led by Quebec natives Sébastien Baril as Président and Jean-François as Directeur Général who previously led can printing company Solucan.
Bevcraft chief operating officer Darren Fenton, a Mullingar native, welcomed their appointment.
“Sébastien and Jean-François are industry pioneers who not only have decades of digital print experience but are true entrepreneurs with whom we share a passion for technical innovation and quality,” he said.
“We are excited to partner with them for this next chapter of the Solucan and Bevcraft journey.”
Activity has already begun at the new 16,000 sq ft facility in Quebec while will provide can printing and distribution services to clients in both Canada and the USA.
The Bevcraft Group was established in 2016 by Mullingar duo Darren Fenton and Ciarán Gorman and has been listed on the FT1000 Fastest Growing Companies in Europe list for three years running now.
