Aoife Doherty organised an art night in aid of Tanzanian Heavenly Homes on March 7 in Killucan GAA hall, when Andrina and Peter Finch demonstrated pictures of giraffes for people to paint.
John McCauley, founder of Tanzanian Heavenly Homes, was present to greet people and spoke to them about what the charity will do with the funds raised at the art night.
Aoife expressed her gratitude to everyone who came to the art night and donated to Tanzanian Heavenly Homes. "Thank you to Killucan GAA for the brilliant facilities for the evening. Thanks to Una from 2210 Patisserie for donating loads of amazing treats. Thank you to everyone who donated to the raffle: Centra, Rathwire; Gildea’s, Kinnegad; CarePlus Pharmacy, Kinnegad; Conor Shaw Fitness; AND Amanda O’Neill."
