If it was a bit blustery, no one noticed, because they were too busy enjoying the craic in Gaine Park, on Easter Sunday at the Duck Race for Multyfarnham Community Centre.
There were luscious refreshments, loads of games to play and a convivial atmosphere as tickets were sold for the now famous Duck Race. It was launched this year by special guest, the Easter Bunny!
Thomas Donnelly had the pleasure of announcing the list of lucky winners. They include the following: Kate Harrahoe, Charlie Corcoran, Mollie Mae Jessup, Shauna Murtagh, Ryan Lindsay, Catherine Reilly Rory Boyce and Emma Loughrey, to mention a few. The Easter Bunny made certain that all the children present got chocolate Easter eggs to munch on.
Thomas Donnelly took the opportunity to thank everyone who supported this event adding that Multyfarnham Community Centre, an excellent facility, is in need of funds for regular maintenance and upkeep.
He stressed that volunteers are welcome to come and join in, with extra hands on deck would be welcome. Remember, to book Multyfarnham Community Centre kindly phone or text 0863062244.
