WATCH: Mullingar group's new video

There are some familiar local faces in Mullingar group Arrow in the Sky's video for their new single, Time of Need.

The video, which is directed by Conor English, features comedian Dogroy, Aaron Quinn, Ria Corcoran and Paul Timoney. It was shot at a number of locations around the Mullingar area.

Arrow in the Sky is the songwriting partnership of singer Conor McCauley and multi-instrumentalist Brian Murphy. Described by the group as "bog blues", Time of Need is the third single from their forthcoming eponymous album scheduled for release in June.

McCauley, a self proclaimed "hardcore atheist" maintains "Time Of Need is not religious in its connotation, but is more so dealing with the themes of salvation and wondering whether or not redemption is possible and, if so, it is most likely not found in a person".

The boys have again gotten by with a little help from their friend Jason Cooper (The Cure/My Life Story).

"We just let him rip," says Brian. "He got the vibe straight away."
