Tea party
Tea party for Alzheimer awareness and inclusion day, Wednesday, May 1, 12.30 in Multyfarnham Community Centre; you are invited to join us in our efforts to celebrate and support the Alzheimer’s Association of Ireland. Special guests will include some of the folks from the newly opened Alzheimer’s Day Service at the Franciscan Friary in Multyfarnham.
As well as the lunch, there will be music and movement with the ever popular Paul Cheevers. This is a fun packed few hours, so please come along and bring a friend. There’s a welcome for all, especially newcomers. Prizes will be raffled and you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you are supporting a worthwhile cause in the Alzheimer’s Society and services.

BMB Active Culture Vulture Group
The concept is straight forward enough, but as always, it takes initiative to press the start button. The Culture Vultures try to do interesting things, not too expensive, using public transport, and bearing in mind the environmental impact. They select life enhancing activities that many people think about doing, but may want company to do. The Culture Vultures, to date, have gone to the cinema to see award winning Oppenheimer, to the National Gallery by train, and are heading to the Gaiety Theatre to see Tuesdays with Morrie on April 18.
If you’re interested in joining with the BMB Active Culture Vultures, text Mary on 087952472. Your ideas on places and activities are welcome always.
Go For Life
Go For Life training for the National Go For Life Games in DCU in June, on in Multyfarnham Community Centre at 10.30am on Tuesdays till June 8 in Dublin.
