’80s disco at Barn for LARCC

Geraldine Weir and her friend Fiona O’Shea visited LARCC recently for a cheque presentation following their successful LARCC fundraiser in October. The ladies organised an ’80s disco at The Barn in Tyrrellspass and raised €2,630 for the Multyfarnham based cancer support charity.

Geraldine and Fiona and all at LARCC wish to thank everyone who helped in any way and supported the event, those who sponsored the many raffle prizes and bought the raffle tickets on the night.

A special word of thanks has to go to DJ Sarge Geraghty, who kept the floor filled, and the ever-generous hosts David and Amy and all the staff of The Barn, who sponsored the finger food on the night.

Geraldine said that the staff and facility at LARCC provided her with the best help over the last year and she is extremely thankful to LARCC; she is also extremely thankful to everyone who has helped her and Fiona raise the funds for the charity and said it is her way of giving back to LARCC.
