Bressie plugs in to use of Mercedes-Benz eVito van

Niall (Bressie) Breslin has plugged in to the all-electric Mercedes-Benz eVito van as he continues his award-winning live podcast tour of Ireland.

Working with Nevo, Ireland’s only dedicated electric vehicle platform, the author, philanthropist, musician and former professional athlete, is fronting a ‘Living with Electric’ campaign, devised to demonstrate to his audiences that driving an electric vehicle is a sustainable and manageable task.

Carrying his crew and equipment in the eVito for the duration of his nationwide tour, Bressie believes that "coupled with the environmental benefit of emission-free motoring, there is a significant cost saving to be made from using electric transportation".

Thanks to a standard charging power of 50kW, Bressie’s Mercedes-Benz eVito panel van can be charged from 10% to 80% in about 35 minutes.

With the battery located under the floor, the 5,140mm long eVito provides up to 6.6 cubic metres of loading space.

Bressie holds an MSc in mindfulness-based intervention, a bachelors degree in economics and sociology and is an honorary fellow of both the Royal College of Surgeons and the Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT).

His ‘Where is my Mind?’ podcast tour of Ireland stops off at live venues where audiences are entertained by a unique show consisting of music, spoken word, monologues and special guests.
