Rory Hearne talk on bank holiday Monday

As part of this weekend's Bailiú festival in Mullingar, Rory Hearne is giving a talk on the housing crisis and what should be done to fix it. The talk is in Cúige Studios on Monday at 2pm.

Dr Hearne is the Social Democrats MEP candidate for the Midlands-Northwest constituency in the upcoming elections on June 7.

A leading expert on the Irish housing crisis, he has been a central figure in the campaign for a right to housing in Ireland. He is an Associate Professor in Social Policy at Maynooth University where he has worked since 2013, and he is also the Author of best-selling book, ‘Gaffs’, which sets out a roadmap to solve the housing crisis.
