Angel Art holding fundraiser for Mary O'Brien cancer treatment
Cancer can be a daunting and life threatening condition, one that we have all been affected by, directly or through family or friends; and one thing we can do is give our help and support to anyone that has to face this journey, and let them know we are right there behind them.
On June 2, Angel Art Studio (@angel_art_mullingar) are holding a fundraiser to help raise funds for lifesaving medical treatment for Mary O’Brien, a young mother of six who was first diagnosed with cancer in 2022. In the last four years, she has undergone multiple surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation.
“We are trying to raise as much money as we can for her, towards the €25,000 cost of treatment for her rare cancer type in Frankfurt, Germany,” said Josie Moran.
“So what have we got in store for you? Well, buckle up for an amazing family friendly day, with face painting and glitter tattoos, hair wraps, plenty of activities, crafts and games for the little ones to join in on. Tea, coffee and scrumptious home made goodies will be available on the day.
“Local band ‘UnWind’ will be belting out the tunes to keep us entertained, and we will also be having a raffle and an art auction.
“Our four tattoo artists (@dariavtattoo, @lornacorroon, @clodaghtattoogunn, @lollys.tattoos) will be offering their time and skills to clients who would like to choose a tattoo from their flash at a reduced price.”
Joanne (@angellee8), owner of Angel Art Studio and head piercer, will be offering ear and nose piercings, at a reduced price; Liga will be giving her powerful tarot card readings, on a first come, first served basis.
All funds raised on the day will be donated to Mary’s cause. “We would really appreciate everyone’s help and support to raise as much as we can,” said Josie.
If you would like to donate to the fundraising effort for Mary O'Brien, you can do so on GoFundMe.
