1. Tell us a bit about yourself

My name is Carol Buchi Okeke, a migrant woman originally from Nigeria in west Africa. I have lived in Ireland for almost 24 years. I am married with four children, who happen to be my greatest achievement. A graduate of theatre arts and a master's degree holder from Dublin Business School. I am currently a customer experience manager in Tesco Mullingar.

2. Why did you get involved in politics?

I joined politics to give my voice and represent my community. It also gives me a platform to give back to the community and society at large.

3. What are the biggest issues?

The current issues in my community are housing, amenities and youth engagement.

4. What are your hobbies?

I love cooking, interacting and watching movies.

I met my husband and we got married in three months.
