‘High voltage’ table quiz for Mullingar SEC

An ‘electric’ experience is promised for a table quiz in aid of Mullingar Sustainable Energy Community, this coming Thursday evening in Berty’s Bar at the Annebrook Hotel.

It will cost a reasonable €20 to enter a team of 4 and the fun starts at 8pm. Great prizes await those who do well in the quiz and those lucky enough to win in the raffle so it should be well worth your time to go along.

Mullingar Sustainable Energy Community is a sub-committee of the Mullingar Chamber of Commerce, working to help the town to move to ‘greener’ forms of electricity generation and encourage conservation.

Recognised as an official Sustainable Energy Community by the SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland), the group has overseen the creation of an Energy Master Plan (EMP) for the town which is available to download from their website.
