Westmeath winner of Lotto Plus 2 top prize of €250,000 in Saturday’s draw

A Lotto player in Westmeath got their month off to a celebratory start after scooping the top prize of €250,000 in Saturday’s Lotto Plus 2 draw after purchasing their winning Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw at Mulligan’s Londis and PO on the Roscommon Road in Athlone.

The winning numbers in the Saturday 1 June Lotto Plus 2 draw were: 03, 18, 24, 34, 35, 42 and the bonus was 31.

Lotto players who purchased their tickets on Saturday 1 June at Mulligan’s Londis and PO are advised to check their tickets carefully as one player has become a top prize winner.

The Westmeath winner should sign the back of their ticket, which is now worth €250,000, and keep it safe.

They should make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize in Lotto HQ.

An online player in Louth matched five numbers and the bonus in the main draw to win €49,253. The National Lottery has confirmed that an email and a notification has been sent to the online winner who should also make contact with the prize claims team.

The winning numbers in the main Lotto draw were: 02, 03, 22, 24, 29, 35 and the bonus was 18.

National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr said: “We are advising all our players who may have been in Mulligan’s on the day of the draw and picked up their tickets there to carefully check them today as one player now has a ticket worth a massive €250,000.

“And that wasn’t our only big winner! An online player in Louth matched five numbers and the bonus to win €49,253 in the main draw. The two biggest winners of the night are advised to make contact with our claims team who will make arrangements for them to collect their prizes in Lotto HQ.

“While over 86,000 players nationwide won prizes across the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws on Saturday night, there was no winner of the €3,801,056 jackpot on offer, which means that Wednesday’s jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €4.2 million.

“Players hoping to be the next big winners to visit the famous Winners Room are reminded that tickets can be purchased in-store, through our app or at www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7:45pm cut-off time for sales on Wednesday evening.”
