Milltown Active Retirement Group supporting LARCC

Milltown Active Retirement Group held an enjoyable and successful coffee morning and bake sale in Milltown Community Centre on Sunday May 19 to raise funds for Cancer Support Sanctuary LARCC.

Bernie McHugh (general manager) attended on the day and spoke about the various aspects of the valuable provided by LARCC to the local and wider community, which is accessible to all by a phone call.

She thanked the committee for choosing LARCC as their partner charity and commended them on a job well done.

The committee of the Active Retirement Group are indebted to their members for their work on the project and to the local community organisations for their assistance and support and use of the community centre.

Sincere thanks goes to all those who attended and contributed on the day and to Fr W Fitzsimons, PP, for his support; all who donated delicious home-baking, spot prizes and generous cash donations.
