You wait 20 years for a councillor and then two come along

After two decades without a councillor the village of Delvin can now boast two, Sinn Fein's David Jones and Fianna Fail's Niall Gaffney.

The two first time candidates were elected earlier today, Jones on the tenth Kinnegad LEA count and Gaffney on the 11th count.
