Simon Casey releases new single with Grammy award winner

Simon Casey from Ballycumber has released a new single entitled 'The Prayers of the Faithful' with grammy award winner Ron Block.

The single is an original country folk song written by Mullingar man Noel O’Farrell. Simon and Noel have teamed up before for one of Simon’s biggest hits, ‘The Third Dance from the End.’

Simon said that he was “delighted” to release the track and that it was a “beautiful piece of work” featuring the “masterful guitar playing of one of the real greats.” Ron is best known as a member of Alison Krauss & Union Station.'

The Prayers of the Faithful' is out now on all streaming platforms.Simon first hit the headlines back in 2003 when he became a superstar after appearing on one of the most popular TV shows ever in Ireland, You’re A Star.
