Young volunteers help keep village clean

Clonmellon Tidy Towns notes

Well done to the young Tidy Towns group, Jack Saoirse and Evan, in helping to clean up the kerbs on the main street, great job. We started to clean around the trees on the street and the wild flowers are starting to come on.

Thanks to Marie and Martina for their work with the flowers in the village; the flowers outside St John’s Church look great.

We hope to have the hanging baskets out soon and they will bring some more colour to the village. The cemetery had a fresh coat of paint, and it looks lovely thanks to the local Clean Sweep Domestic Solutions.

Thank you to John Wilson’s grandson Harry, always ready to help; he is now the official bird-feeder and will do a great job.
