Grow Remote Mullingar Chapter agree further social gatherings

Those who enjoyed the first Grow Remote Mullingar Chapter social gathering for remote and hybrid workers finished up by committing to further meeting.

The first one was on Wednesday June 19 at Belvedere House, Gardens and Park. Close to 40 had signed up in advance for the event via Eventbrite, and there was a great turnout on the day, when the sun even came out for them.

Understandably there were a few nerves meeting new people initially but within minutes we all enjoyed a chat and exchanged ideas over a tea/coffee and scone in the lovely atmosphere of Belvedere.

While all agreed that we enjoy the flexibility and improved quality of life associated with remote working, it was equally agreed that they wanted to be more connected and valued within the local community in Mullingar.

The group plan to meet up monthly in Mullingar and support local businesses. Their next event planned is a tapas night out in a well-known eatery in Mullingar.
