Westmeath Ladies feature in latest episode of behind the scenes documentary

Episode Two of AIG and Ladies Gaelic Football Associations’ Behind The Scenes Documentary ‘Making It Happen’ is now live on AIG Ireland’s YouTube channel.

The series provides detailed training and match footage along with in-depth interviews from players and management of Westmeath (Intermediate), Cork (Senior), and Carlow (Junior) LGFA teams.

Produced by Future Proof Media, the series follows the above-mentioned teams' journeys throughout the TG4 All-Ireland Ladies Football Championship showcasing the effort and emotion that players and management go through when representing their county at the highest level.

While episode one focused on the provincial championships, episode two now focuses on the All-Ireland series where counties battle it out to qualify from their group and edge one step closer to playing in Croke Park and pursuing their All-Ireland dreams.

John Gillick, Head of Sponsorship & Direct Marketing at AIG Ireland commented: “After the positive response from the first episode, it’s fantastic to team up once again with the LGFA, TG4, all management teams and Future Proof Media to bring viewers the next instalment of Making It Happen. We hope everyone enjoys the series and appreciates the fantastic effort these athletes put into representing their county.”

Ladies Gaelic Football Association President, Mícheál Naughton, said: “We’ve been treated to some wonderful football already this year in the Lidl National Leagues and now it’s TG4 Championship season. So much time, effort and commitment goes into the preparation of our leading intercounty teams and this innovative series will shine a light on that. I look forward to watching the series unfold and following the fortunes of these three counties throughout the TG4 All-Ireland Championship season.”
