Town band make finals of world marching championships

Mullingar Town Band are competing at the World Marching Show Band Championship in Rastede Germany. The band had their preliminary group competition on Friday and were last night announced as a top 12 finalist – and will compete for the world title today.

Additionally yesterday, Saturday, morning the band competed in the world championship parade competition and placed 12th with a silver medal award.
