Mullingar Pride preparing for annual parade and festival
In their short existence, Mullingar Pride have made their presence felt in a colourful joyus way in the town, and they are back for more this month with their pride festival.
Officially launched in March 2022, Mullingar Pride has since hosted two successful pride parades and festivals. Last year’s in the heart of Mullingar marked the first major queer event in the town’s history.
This year’s Mullingar Pride is on Saturday July 13, and lineup includes a family afternoon with live entertainment, a pride parade through the town, and the grand celebration, Werk!Fest.
Headlined by Irish icons Linda Martin and Niamh Kavanagh, the official celebration concert returns for its third year, marking the Mullingar Pride Trilogy Era with exciting plans and a vibrant new vibe.
Other headliners for the night include the Haus of Kwén, featuring performers such as Domino, Tess Tickles, Kobra Kage, Sassy Weef, Jackie Off, Éireasure, and Madz Anxiety.
The WERK! Show will also return, showcasing national queens alongside local drag star Betty Loveeens and Manchester drag star Cremé Bruleé, with DJs and more to entertain the crowd.
