Minister visits Mr Crumb factory

Minister Peter Burke has said that he enjoyed an opportunity last week to spend a morning at the Mr Crumb factory in Finea, where the team are marking 30 years of business.

“Spearheaded by the fantastic duo Bernard and Patricia Coyle and supported by more than 80 staff, they are going from strength to strength in Finea,” said the minister.

The minister enjoyed a tour of the Mr Crumb factory.

“I got to tour their production facility and sample some of the new products – which are were as delicious as I have come to expect from all their produce. Mr Crumb is a fantastic, innovative business we can be proud of in the midlands, based in the heart of rural Ireland and providing employment into dozens of households.

“Government will continue to support these vital elements of our local economy in whatever way we can. Huge congrats to all the Coyle family and the wider staff network.”
