Defibrillator unveiling event at Lakepoint

A defibrillator is this week being installed at Lakepoint estate in Mullingar - and the residents are keen to ensure that neighbouring estates are also aware of its presence.

"We have over 400 houses in Lakepoint - but this will also benefit Gleann Petit and Great Oaks," says Julie Darby, of the Lakepoint Residents Association. The defibrillator has been provided by the Mullingar charity, Ben's Lifeline, and this Thursday July 18 at 6.30pm, at the formal unveiling of the defibrillator, the Lakepoint Residents' Association will make a donation to Ben's Lifeline. The device has been installed on a wall just inside the entrance to the estate. The association is inviting residents of Lakepoint, Gleann Petit and Great Oaks to attend the unveiling, where they can learn more about how the defibrillator can be accessed and used, and about the work of the charity which has installed it
