Man hospitalised after daytime Mullingar assault
A man has been hospitalised following a daytime assault in Mullingar.
The incident occurred around 1pm on Tuesday, July 23, in a housing estate in the town.
The victim, a man in his 20s, sustained injuries that Gardaí have described as “non-life-threatening.”
He was taken to Regional Hospital Mullingar for treatment.
Another man, also in his 20s, was later arrested in connection with the incident and was scheduled to appear before Mullingar District Court on Wednesday, July 25.
