WATCH: Local GAA club to review security after vandalism incident

St Loman's GFC is to review the security at its grounds after vandals struck this week.

A large number of the portable goals that are used for underage matches were dumped on top of each other earlier this week, leaving the club's volunteer members with the task of carrying out repairs.

It is the latest in a line of anti-social incidents at the ground in recent years, which includes vandals causing extensive damage to the club's press box and dug outs.

The club is reviewing its security and also looking at restricting access to its 4G and other pitches to registered members.

The grounds are a popular amenity with local young people particularly during the summer months. The club says that it is regrettable that the actions of a small minority have forced it to review its security arrangements and potentially restrict access.
