Lakeland Sessions festival takes place this weekend
Mullingar will be buzzing this August bank holiday weekend as big musical names are set to take to the stage in Blackhall car park as part of the Lakeland Sessions music festival.
This Saturday will see performances from FIVE, Whigfield, Smash Hits and many more star-studded artists. Sunday sees The Wolfe Tones takes to stage, along with George Murphy and The Rising Sons, Some Ones Sons and others.
There will be a massive outdoor stage, food vendors, amusements and more. Gates open for the festival at 4:30pm each day.

Road closures
Local residents are being advised to be aware of road closures along with the closure of Blackhall car park over the weekend.
